My Homecare & Services

Service Concept

My Homecare & Services proposes an on-site Shared Support Service caregiver, designed to complement assisted living, independent living, and other supportive residential settings by addressing short, intermittent resident needs that may arise outside scheduled personal homecare visits. This model reduces unmet needs by placing a My Homecare & Services caregiver on-site during defined hours to provide brief, non-medical assistance to enrolled residents only.

Service Model

Caregivers provide non-medical, supportive assistance designed to promote resident comfort, safety, and independence. Services may include:

  • Mobility assistance, including walking support and wheelchair assistance

  • Support with brief daily tasks, such as retrieving items or light task completion

  • Meal support, including set-up, encouragement, and assistance as permitted

  • Companionship and reassurance, including routine resident check-ins

  • Prompt response to minor, time-sensitive needs to ensure resident comfort and well-being

Limited Personal Care Support

Light assistance with toileting or bathing may be provided only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The resident is capable of performing the task independently

  • Assistance is limited to cueing, reassurance, standby support, or minimal hands-on help

  • The task falls within the caregiver’s scope of practice and professional discretion

Proposed Service Hours

7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Enrollment & Feasibility

Service launch is contingent upon meeting minimum resident enrollment requirements to ensure operational feasibility.

  • Enrollment tiers typically range from 6–15 participating residents

  • Services may be modified or discontinued if enrollment falls below established feasibility thresholds

Alternatively, assisted living providers may elect to enter into a service agreement through the Shared Support Services Facility Participation & Enrollment — subject to mutual negotiation, in lieu of resident-based enrollment requirements.

Pricing Structure

Pricing is tiered based on resident enrollment levels and reflects the proportional allocation of caregiver availability across enrolled participants.

Lower enrollment tiers result in a higher concentration of caregiver availability per resident and therefore a higher per-resident fee. As enrollment increases, per-resident fees decrease to reflect the shared distribution of caregiver resources. Individual caregiver availability per resident may vary based on overall demand, urgency, and resident volume.

Fees represent shared access to on-site support and do not constitute guaranteed individual service time.

Residents participate through a daily shared-access fee.

Final pricing and structure are confirmed prior to service commencement.

Operational Boundaries

This service:

  • Does not include nursing or medical services

  • Does not provide continuous supervision

  • Coordinate staff presence with management

  • Follow facility policies and procedures

  • Maintain professional conduct and boundaries

Facility participation:

  • Does not constitute employment or supervision of caregivers
